NFAK......my obsession with the GOD of Qawwali....

dont worry, nothin indecent here...im pretty sure some of you who've read the title would've thought i am about to write something related to vulgarity, since this post is titled NFAK (Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan).....anyway, my infatuation to sufism music had been for long...not just a sudden click or caused by some trend of listening, and the liking to this sorts of music is nothing related to religion, since Qawwali and Sufism is very much connected to the great religion of Islam....its just the poetic quality and the deepness of the lyrics, and most importantly the way the music is composed and the singers quality to manipulate his audience with they way he plays with the lyrics, aalaps, clappings of the backing singers, intonation and so on....writing about this music would never do justice as the history is to elaborate and the lineage of these sort of music produces tremendous quality prodigys such as the Ustad (NFAK).....my favorite song in his enormous renderings of qawwalis is the one titled "Tumhein Dillagi Bhool Jaani Paadegi", a version which i had embedded here for your listening.....ARR is a avid fan of NFAK, these he had iterated many times before and had even incorporated some clipping of his songs in his compositions...enjoy!!!

note  :  this video is uploaded without the intention of intention of infringing any copyrights holder...it is just for the sake of spreading the joy of listening a splendid piece of music...if the upload indeed violated anybody's copyright, kindly inform me so that I can remove the upload ASAP!!

RHB Bank, please get your act right....

every month i'm a frequent visitor of this Bank's branch at the IOI Boulevard and its been the same thing for the past 6-7 months..their service had been deteriorating over the period...in fact i still remember they'd fixed the survey machine in front of their cashiers for the customers to key in their input...it was still tolerable during those days but right after they dismantled the survey machines, their service especiallly the queue management had turned for the worst...today was my longest waiting time....i.e. 1 hour plus just to make my car installment payment.....get your act right....people are paying your monthly installments, not asking money from you...morons!!!!!

Be Safe and Sound...it never hurts to be prudent!!!

Another set of guides and advice you may find useful in your daily city life....

Do feel free to share this to your friends and loved ones.

1)      Get a pepper spray if possible. A standard one will cost you about RM30+ nowadays. Get something that can be held comfortably for easy usage. But be reminded, only use when necessary. This is not to be used against your friendly neighbourhood colleagues.

2)      If you are in a car park lift alone with another individual, place yourself near the lift buttons. If you are attacked, press all the buttons, the lift will stop at all floors and you might even possibly press the alarm button. This will create some attention and this might save you.

3)      Whenever you are entering a carpark to collect your vehicle, hold the car key. The reason? Because most of the car remote controls do have a function, which is if pressed it will trigger the alarm Most of us will use this function to find the car but actually this is a panic button function. When pressed continuously (if you are in danger or in need) at least it will draw attention and most probably the would be attacker will withdraw. But first before you do this, get a reliable alarm system for your car. No point pressing an alarm controller that has no battery or broken.  If you are alone in a quiet carpark, always try to walk in a lighted area, look out for blind spots such as curves and behind big pillars. If there is someone, the ideal place to hide is here. If you feel something is amiss, get out immediately (or go back to the building or mall )  and seek help. A friendly guy like me would definitely try to help if you ask nicely.

4)      Always keep your parking ticket with you especially if the carpark uses an autopay system. Most of us fail to do this. Remember, the attacker is not an ad-hoc/impromptu based individual as he had done some research and do study your habits whilst you are in the premise. He will always expect you to come back to the car to collect the ticket prior to making the payment. When he will attack you possibly? When you come back to your vehicle after making the payment. You had made his work easier as you had already validated the ticket and he knows the passage to go out from the carpark is already 50% green as the ticket can be used at the exit point.  If you had the ticket with you all the time, this scenario could be avoided at all cost. However, he may still make his move with or without the abovesaid scenario. If you are attacked anyway, crumple the ticket. Why? To damage the magnetic strip or the coding which will halt an easy exit from the carpark. Remember, this is way much easier for the perpetrator if you are using a Touch n Go or even a season parking card. As such, keep this cards where other can’t see or locate it easily. Remember, Canny Ong was attacked whilst retrieving her parking ticket in this manner at BSC.

5)      When you go to the spot where you parked your car, do not look at the vehicle directly. “This will make the car blush because you are making an eye contact”. That was a joke, seriously. The actual reason not to do this is you will give away your vehicle spot to the perpetrator as he will know where is your vehicle location and he can easily awaits you at the car. Instead look at a different direction and make sudden turns whenever you’ve reached your car to create an element of surprise and will catch them offguard. This suggestion might sounds absurd but a little bit of creativity will save your life and dignity. One more thing, once in your car, lock immediately and get out from the carpark as soon as possible, you can put your lipstick and comb your hair next time as you can’t possibly get much beautiful anyway.

6)      Avoid confrontation if you are attacked. If the perpetrator wants your valuables, surrender it. Do not fight unless you are properly trained or you are the elder sister of Bruce Lee. Sexually motivated attacker will forgo your valuables, hence is this happen shout, scream, wail, struggle, kick, grab as hard as you can. Also find a vehicle and get under it as fast as you can, It is very hard to pull you out from under a vehicles and this will definitely draw attention of others. As much as you can, try not to be grabbed and loaded inside the vehicle of the perpetrators as you might not get out alive from this situations.

7)      Some carparks have installed emergency alert buttons (IOI Mall, Plaza Perangsang, Pavillion). Try to get a parking spot near this buttons as it might be useful in case of need. If you feel certain malls or building is unsafe to be patronized, make your choice of not going there anymore, or if unavoidable, find a nearby parking area which is deemed safe. Tell your friends and colleagues also about this.

8)      Whilst driving, if another vehicle banged your car from the back, check your rear view mirror first. If there are more than one person in the car there is a good chance that the accident is premeditated. Instead of getting out, keep on driving to the nearest police station. Unless you are in the middle of a traffic jam as the accident will be definitely 90% genuine. Of course you can ignore this advice if you’re a tow truck operator.

9)      If the vehicle keep on chasing you, do not get onto a highway. Reason? You will be less noticed as most of the vehicles will be speeding anyway on a highway. Instead, try getting into smaller roads where there are more traffic and buildings along . You can always drive to a police station, fire station, hospital, 24 hours clinic or wherever you think it is safer. There are always some individuals that will go a long way to help others in our country.

10)   Teach your kids not to approach anyone who is stopping by the road and asks for direction. No person in a sound mind would bother to ask a kid for directions.

11)   Tagging you kids with an info tag will be very helpful. I know the idea sounds a bit absurd but parents in western countries do this normally. The tag might contain the parents name, no to contact, address and so on. If your kid are lost anywhere, this will prove to be very helpful to the person who is trying to return them back to you.

The above are just some reminders that I can recall. Prevention is better than cure. Times are bad and criminals are very cold hearted nowadays. Be safe and sound always,

For Ladies and Some Gentlemen (Safety Tips in Carpark & Whilst Driving)

since I'm involved in the industry and do play some part in the policy making and regulations of the industry, the following is some contribution and ideas for you guys to follow. Nothing is wrong if it contributs to the safety of oneself.....

Car Park Safety Tips

Please note that all these guidelines are mostly general and might not be a help in time of need due to various crime methods and perseverance of the perpetrators. As such, always exercise caution at all cost and most importantly, do not let overconfidence rules you.

·         Drivers should choose their car parks carefully - Opt for ones that are well lit, have plenty of traffic and are monitored by CCTV or security personnel.

·         Drivers shouldn’t leave anything on the back seat of the car while parked in a car park that might attract unwanted attention.  Female motorists in particular, should inspect their car for tell tales signs that their car is driven by a woman.  Any giveaway items should be placed in the car boot.

·         Drivers should consider parking their car as close as possible to the car park lift area as there’ll be more people circulating in this area of the car park.

·         Drivers should also where possible, choose a well-lit car parking space.

·         Drivers should take note of where they park their vehicle to avoid needlessly wandering around the car park when they return.

·         Drivers returning to their car should keep both hands free amalgamating everything into a shoulder bag if possible before entering the car park.  Drivers juggling bags are an easier target for attackers.

·         Drivers should always have their car keys to hand before entering the car park.

·         Drivers who feel unsafe should ask the car park security guard to walk them to their vehicle.

·         Drivers should check around and under their car followed by the vehicle’s back seats before getting in.

·         If feeling intimidated drivers should get into their car as quickly as possible, lock the car doors and exit the car park without delay.

·         If vans with side sliding door parked on the driver’s side of their vehicle, drivers should consider entering their car from the passenger side just in case.

·         Drivers should think twice before responding to another motorist who is looking for assistance in a car park.  If you have any reservations refer them to the car park security guard.

·         Drivers who find you have a flat tyre or your vehicle won’t start in a car park shouldn’t hang around the car park.  Go to a public place and call the Auto Assist (of your choice) for breakdown assistance or a local garage.

·         Drivers who find their vehicle has been broken into should immediately go to the car park security guard for help, call the Guards and inform the car park management.  Don’t hang around the car park alone waiting for them to arrive.

till the last breath of this body!!!

dunno why out of a sudden i had this urge of writing this....its been a long time since i had updated this blog but today when i came back home and saw the faces of my both girls i felt like telling them how i love them but i do know they are in a such innocent age they wont understand what i intended to tell them....when vinithaa was conceived, i had anticipated for her arrival since the first day i knew that my other half is carrying another soul within...coincidentally i watched billy crystals interview by david letterman in which he told that the moment he found out that his daughter is pregnant with his first granddaughter, he started loving the kid....for those who does not share the same sentiment as i am, this emotion could be hard to fathom but i understand him fully without a single node of doubt....the feeling of an anticipating father waiting for the arrival of his first offspring is hard to tell...if i felt that way, imagine her grandfather who'd been waiting for the past 10 years to carry his first grand kid,  the anticipation whilst he was with my mom and after her passing...i still remember going into the labor room and watching her coming out from her mothers womb and the realization that im a father now is hard to tell...all the childhood memories  that i had is practically being played all again within the confined space of my intelligence box...my grandpa, mom, dad, brothers, the old houses....all the thing that i had experienced before i manifested into what i am today....seeing the little person being rolled out from the labor room and watching her from the viewing mirror of the baby room...coming to delishaa, so many people told me that the second one will be a breeze as you will be used to all those things after the first one..let me tell you, i had the same state of mind and anticipation when the mother was rolled into the labpr room and later being told that she had to go for Caesar and the baby is in duress had made me a very anxious person even after she was born as i was worried for the mother....luckily i had my father and other family members with me at that juncture giving me support....the feeling of suddenly being a father for two kids is such a wonderful state and i have no words for it.....nowadays whenever im with them and watching them growing up is such a joy i wish that i will be forever immersed in this feeling and im pretty sure that i will experience it for years to come.....now i know what my parents felt and hoped from all of us......i will always love you mom and my love for my father knows no boundary.............................my kids and the other half..do not ask how much i love u all.....every single breath!!!!

Another Fantastic Specimen of Manglish!!

Good morning folks....I've been omitting of paying a visit to this particular assignment of mine which used to be a favorite hang out place but due to the hectic schedule and busy undertakings of recent, frequent visits are being kept in abeyance for a while.

Nevertheless, last Friday I'd dropped by at the place and as usual frequented the men restroom and this particular notice (haphazardly done with an A4 paper) had been pulling my eyes for quite some time but the one I noticed earlier was on a different level and subsequently was taken out, but at this level which I've never been before fortunately, the notice was still there. I bet the photograph itself is sufficient for you all to tabulate the beautiful language and grammar and the way they describe the human waste i.e. your "SHIT"...........enjoy

Agony and Despair!!

It is always heart-wrenching when you see the dailies portraying news informing death of kids and toddlers, due to some negligence in the care centres, nurseries or even abuse by the caretakers and even parents, latest being the 2 year old toddler at a georgetown's nursery whereby she drowned in a tub at a day care center. the funny thing is when is saw the papers today the authorities are all screaming their lungs out on how the care center can be operating without a licence all this while (in this case for the past 5 years) and bullshit brouhahahh......what the hell are these enforcement officers of the necessary departments are doing all this while. Not that this centre's are all located inside a jungle or some hidden areas as from what i can see they're always easily located in any of the residential areas and commercial plots even.

At the end, as we always read and encounter in a everyday life, all this issues are contributed due to the basic attitude of our people and civil/private servants with the 'tidak apa' attitude and everything 'boleh' until the karma bites them back on their butt at the end. Its not until the mishap happens to someone that we love or care, that we will even want to think about the legality and the authenticity of the whole operation......in this sense, we as parents i think has the most authority to determine and decide the place or venue to whom or which place we are sending our kids for care or study by actually ascertaining the validity of the place or the institution...there is no harm in checking out this facts since you are sending you own flesh and blood and in this case this kiddo is the only child of the couple after 8 years of marriage.....

To see the mother carrying the lifeless body of the toddler is totally unbearable especially if you yourself is a parent.....may GOD bless her soul......

Ratha Curry House, Bdr Puteri Puchong

sorry guys but this is not a food blog but here and there i always try to touch and talk about one of my favorite things in life i.e. good food..this eve being a day off i took from work, all of us went to the Bdr Puteri Giant to buy some family necessities .....and its definitely normal after such purchase i always end up bringing them for food or at least a drink reason being i ended up in this restaurant which is just located besid the kayu nasi kandar (why i did not choose kayu instead)..ordered a cows milk tea, my other half a normal teh tarik and my bubble a iced milo, for a chow i've ordered 6 vadais and 1 curry puff...avoid this place like a plaque coz the food is lousy and the cows mile tea is actually filled with powdered milk and not the real one....food is mediocre and i can see by the people patronizing this outlet....ambiance is so n so..the toilet was clean but i saw some flies inside it which was disgusting enough.....the kitchen, i've managed to peen on the way to the restroom, was the same as any other indian restaurants i.e. still shaggy and dirty.....my judgement is this outlet wan't be there for long@!!!!!

Pearl of the Orient!!!!

Guess what..I just completed my foodie tour of the penang island and the truth is, i'm quite impressed with the outcome..the research I did before embarking on the tour was well worth it and the actual runaround within the island proved that indeed good food really exist within the nook and cranny of Malaysia especially within the island itself..I told my other half that the visit to my auntie's house in Bkt Tambun and the Penang island will be more concentrated in food hunting escapades which I've planned quite extensively and guess what, thats what we did more than staying in the hotel alternated with visiting some landmarks in the island itself....the Char Kuey Tiow at Lebuh Kimberley (did not visited the Jalan Selamat fierce lady CKT but we did went to the Sister's CKT at Heng Lam cafe but its a total disappointment but the yam cake and the nyonya kueh's was pretty darn good), Anson Park food court for the curry mee, wanton mee. lor bak koh, che cheong fun (nothing compared to the Teluk Intan's one), Hammediyah's nasi kandar and murtabak (nice place and food but quite pricay but what the heck not everyday), geese biryani (strange but nice) at Zainal (i dunno the actual name coz i tend to forget fast) at Lebuh Chulia, tandoori and naan at Restoran Kapitan doubled with their special almond milk ( the crown jewel of this shop i guess) and numerous road side stalls which i've stopped here and there .....unfortunately i didn't try the teowchew chendol and the famous island ABC stalls due to the cough i've had for the past 3 weeks...pretty much i've covered abt 25% of the targeted places which was initially planned and another trip will be there soon as i plan to complete the whole tour the next time im stepping my foot on the island again....foods are fresh and aplenty, cheap and affordable, clean compared to KL standard and reachable at any point of time....mamak foods especially is not like what we've grown accustomed too here as they are practically fresh and does not pose any harm to the stomach but you have to be careful due to the cholesterol and fat level which may increase in your BMI...the char kuey teows despite all the hype i've read on the net was nothing much to shout about compared to my hometowns version near the old rex theatre, the skinny cyclists shop in front of the famous Men's Design tailor was much much better than the island's numerous version with the even coating of egg onto the stringy flour and the generous amount of lap cheong and blood cockles.....the curry me at 100 tahun does live up to its hype coz the taste does evoke your senses....the hotel we stayed was pretty average and the breakfast was quite a disappointment despite the 4 star status they claim and considering it was called Sheraton before this....next time its definitely goin to be the HardRock at Feringghi, the only reason we've skipped the HardRock was due to the distance from George Town but i'm willing to take my chance the next time around as my other half always emphasized on the comfort of the place of stay due to my two wonders as they like to spend more time in the hotel playing around the pool and loving the ambiance of the surroundings....the Dhammikarma and Wat Chaiyamangalaram was awesome and eye opener.....Cornwallis was classic despite some untidiness within the fort itself......the teochew clanhouse was also a beautiful piece of the island despite the pricey Cheong Fat Tze and the uneventful Kek Lok Si venture.....Penang still lingers in the mind and i'm pretty sure that this feet will step again over there at the soonest.........

Visitors, everyday to the house without fail......

hi guys...its been a while now since I've posted any news on the updates all around me due to the hectic schedule and planning a short trip up north next week for the function at my auntie's house doubled up with a short runaround within the pearl of the orient....

however, the actual reason I'm typing this post is to show to you all that I've been receiving visitors in the form of singing pigeons everyday almost 2-3 times courtesy of my youngest, Delishaa. We do not know how'd she befriended this creatures by they seems not to be perturbed vy her presence whenever they pay their visits, but the moment her elder sister Vinithaa moves into the fray they will bolt out for their lives......I've managed to snap several pics for your viewing during one of their visits last weekend which is attached on top of this post......please bear in mind that i was actually a bit worried when the pigeons started frequenting the house since they have been considered a pest and known to bring diseases but my checking with ppl who know and have experience in this matter revealed that this type of pigeon is not easily found within the normal pigeon community and moves separately hence they have a lesser chance in spreading any contagious diseases!!!

myMetro | Kereta wanita hamil dipancit

when we used to take of this assignment, never before this kinda crappy things had ever occured....and even when the HKL mgmt requested us to enforce clamping and towing we always insisted on the technicalities and bylaws of the local council...i guess when little napoleons rules, matters like this become unavoidable...an article from harian metro on friday 15 April 2011.......

Kereta wanita hamil dipancit

Oleh Raja Noraina Raja Rahim dan Mohd Haiqal Bokhari

am@hmetro.com.my

Being Frank : No Indians Please!!!!

This article was a real heartbreaker for me when i read it today in the Malay Mail by Frankie D' Cruz.

Read it in whole and it will make any indians (like me) quiver, not with anger but sadness and anguish but whether people like believes it or not, that the nature of the society that perceptively looks at people like me nowadays. Please mind that i am continuously using "people like me" phrase which directly refers to indians who are heavily colored.....bluntly darker skinned (always taken for indian nationals from the southern india) i.e. someone like me. Lemme relate an incident which had happened to me about 6 years ago when i was between jobs and unreliable employment and i ended up answering a vacancy in a newspaper and subsequently sent my resume to...the gentleman who conducted the interview seems did not noticed that i am an indian (dark) hence called me for an interview and had a shock of his lifetime when he saw a man in my stature entering his office. Then the bombardment started, what is your bank balance, do u own a car, how many months were the car installment in arrears, what is your credit card balance, bla bla bla...it had boiled me to a point of which i stopped him from going further and told him to keep his job for his farking jelly bean yellow and brown skinned personnel which he might hire in future.....the discrimination still exists heavily in our society where people thinks that intelligence is determined by the colour of the skin, if you are an indian are you from the northern part coz if you are, you're much intelligent and a beautiful person than those from the filthy and dirty south!!! You all get what i mean, but mind you i am not at all intimidated by this kinda reactions and perception coz the bane of my existence is my culture and my history and not some bloody forsaken and silver spoonfed racist m#th@r farkin ass*ol%s and i submit to these facts before i react to any pokes of racism aimed at me ..........but for now, thanks brother Frankie for your findings.....!!!!

A CLASSIFIED advertisement for the rental of a high-end condominium in Kuala Lumpur appallingly asserts NO INDIANS — throwing up a regrettable case of selective bias.

It was the first time in local English media that I had come across a downright racist advertisement that steered prospective Indian tenants away.

It was not meant for Indian nationals — it applied to any Indian, including me. I may be accused of overstepping racial lines but the advertisement in a national daily by a Malaysian Chinese lady working and living in Sydney, Australia, takes Indian bashing here to new depths of shame.

The advertisement by the owner, a radiologist, for rental of her apartment suite at Bistari condominium near the PWTC and The Mall explicitly states “No Indians”, something so bold and blunt unseen in the housing ads of newspapers.

Her problem with Indians: curry! She would not have her tenant cooking up a "toxic" cloud of curry fumes that permeates the entire 1,500 sq ft suite.

I asked her property agent: “Are Indians the only ones who cook curry?” “Are Indians the only ones who enjoy curry?"

Asked if the advertisement that specified "No Indians" was prejudiced, she said it was a condition by the owner that would be in the tenancy agreement.

There is, however, no legal position on people stirring overpowering and lingering whiffs in apartments.

Real estate negotiators and lawyers tell me there is nothing in a contract that can get a tenant evicted for cooking curry. Clearly, in this case Indians are being treated less favourably than other tenants when we know housing discrimination is unlawful and unacceptable.

If you don’t want an Indian tenant, you don’t have to broadcast it to the whole world. Deal with it privately and sensibly instead of indulging in racial steering.

It’s beyond me why the newspaper published the discriminatory “No Indians” condition when it monitors ads for other reasons, such as obscenity and deceptive advertising. It cannot argue that monitoring for discriminatory messages was a burden as the practice of racial steering is provocative and bears serious social ramifications.

The right thing to do would be to pass on to regulatory authorities the details of those individuals who post discriminatory ads that excluded prospective tenants on the basis of race, gender, family status, marital status, national origin, and religion.

To evaluate owner-sentiment toward Indian tenants, a Being Frank enquiry was launched over the weekend with visits to six high-end apartment suites in various parts of Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya.

I was the prospective tenant, with "four children" and in all cases, the owners found me, meaning an Indian, a liability:

● One told the agent, who accompanied me, Indians make too much noise and create a mess. However, when I offered him RM300 extra a month for the RM2,100 apartment, he accepted.

● Another said Indians were known to be quarrelsome “so that won't work out”.

● Three of them said four kids were too many, so “No children”.

● One asked me what car I drove and wanted a letter from my company stating my position and a copy of the monthly pay slip. He obviously didn’t trust this Indian.

The owners of two other apartments I was scheduled to see told their agents not to show the units to Indians. Their contention: Indians are messy, too loud and do not give the apartment complex a good image.

I was astonished and can conclude that fair and equal access to housing is not a cornerstone of our society. Equal access to housing in Malaysia is a fundamental right and this nation should not tolerate discrimination in housing.

Few things are more fundamental to success and happiness than having a safe place to live.

The government should actively pursue these concerns with the goal of fairness and equity for all.

Admittedly, there are differences in our culture and social practices but such blatant profiling of any ethnicity is destructive to society. It’s just pure pomposity — conceit that causes human relationships to be lost, self-righteousness that causes the trust to be lost too.

There may be good reasons for excluding certain troublesome types or undesirables, but whole scale social exclusion is divisive and is the thin end of a more sinister mindset.

Let us treat this responsibility as an opportunity. A chance to take stock, to ask ourselves: how did it come to this? Is it a material, genetic or self-inflicted deficiency that has led one to ignore co-existing in harmony?

The first step to rehabilitation is to recognise you have a problem.

Lakbir Singh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cam across the blog Of Art Harun and psoted below is one of his postings which i've found hilarious....nothin political but fo the fun of reading!!!

A farmer named Lakbir Singh was overseeing his herd in a remote pasture in Bolehland when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced out of a dust cloud towards him.

The driver, a young Malay man in an Armani suit, Gucci shoes, Ray-Ban sunglasses and YSL tie, leans out the window and asks the farmer, "If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, will you give me a calf?"

Lakbir looks at the man, obviously a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, "Sure, why not?"

The yuppie parks his car, whips out his iPad, connects it to his Cingular RAZR V3 cell phone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satellite to get an exact fix on his location which he then feeds to another NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo.

The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop and exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg, Germany . Within mere seconds, he receives an email on his iPhone 4 that the image has been processed and the data is stored.

He then accesses a MS-SQL database through an ODBC connected Excel spreadsheet with email on his iPhone 4 and, after a few minutes, receives a response. Finally, he prints out a full-colour, 150-page report on his hi-tech, miniaturized HP LaserJet printer and finally turns to the farmer and says, "You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves."

"That's right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves," says Lakbir.

He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on amused as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car.

Then Lakbir says to the young man, "Hey, if I can tell you exactly what your business is, will you give me back my calf?"

The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, "Okay, why not?"

"You're a graduate from Oxford and a Member of Parliament for Umno," says Lakbir.

"Wow! That's correct," exclaims the yuppie with the customary Umno's Wow Factor, "But how did you guess that?"

"No guessing required," answered Lakbir. "You showed up here even though nobody called you; you want to get paid for an answer I already knew, and to a question I never asked. You tried to show me how much smarter you are, and you don't know a thing about cows. This is a herd of sheep."

Now give me back my dog."

Pusat Bandar Puchong, a Foreigners Haven!!!

There is was at the Pusat Bandar Puchong (my previous home before shifting to Puchong Prima)as i brought Harvin to see the biggest turban i've ever seen so far (Dr Nirlaip) at Segara...didnt wanted to go inside the clinic so i opted to wait inside my kuda terbang (dunno why lately he is having such a hot temperament as his indicator keep rising, guess its due to his old age) and started to on the games ive installed in the mobile when i obviously noticed some scenarios at the place which i previously called home....there is a lots of Myanmar nationals lurking around at the shoplot pavements and doing some sort of thing one way or another...what i saw was 2 small tables which was conveniently placed at the entrances to the upper residential lots of the shops and they are peddling this dizzying and in the same time intoxicating (to a certain point) concoction of beetle nut, slaked lime (kapur sireh), sireh leaves (ive tried googling for english name but apparently there is any) some spices and GOD knows what into the mix...this concoction is very common with the Myanmar nationals (no matter woman or man) and some India mari fellas as you can notice from their reddish lips and tooth and also their frequent spitting ( this explains why some of the pavements at this place which im talking about is so stained and dirty) as it will give them some kick while chewing it during working hours or even during their siesta time...the funny thing is, if im not wrong this kinda thing is actually prohibited or not allowed to be sold openly in Malaysia as it is also equivalent to selling alcoholic drinks and kawasan2 yang sewaktu dengannya hence the restriction...i still remember years ago when i use to frequent some place is selayang when a friend used to live there, these scenario is very common as you can see hundreds of foreigners will be loitering around the shoplots nearby the pasar borong and you can see that some of them are actually thuggish and individuals with questionable characters, and of quite recent, this place was raided by the authorities (after thousands of complaints) and they managed to apprehend and even shot killed a notorious myanmarese drug lord (this news was publicised in the papers however the intensity was toned down for some apparent reason)....i am now pretty sure that left uncontrolled, PBP (pusat bandar Puchong) will eventually turn into similar nature with the pasar borong selayang area due to the rising numbers of these foreigners...

Whilst watching all these, enter the fray an Ah Beng character pasting the loans sharks stickers all over the tnb distribution box near the clinic i was waiting...this character seems to be very much engrossed in performing his professional duty without actually paying any heed to the surroundings and i was wandering this maybe due to the lack of enforcement or the duit kopi culture that is tainting the whole civil service of our country at the current moment...anyway, this is all just some rambling for you all to ponder and to make it interesting ive even attached some photographs for viewing.....
