Tumbuk sambal masuk Malaysia Book of Records

Bayangkan suasana apabila kira-kira 1,000 orang serentak menumbuk sambal belacan.

Ia berlaku pada program menarik pelancong, "Pesta Angin Timur Perlis di Bendang 2011" di kawasan sawah padi di Kampung Banir Tembus dekat Kangar hari ini.

Para peserta membawa sendiri lesung batu manakala bahan-bahan untuk membuat sambal seperti belacan, gula, garam, cili, asam dan limau nipis disediakan oleh pihak urusetia.

Turut menumbuk sambal ialah Timbalan Menteri Penerangan Komunikasi dan Kebudayaan, Datuk Joseph Salang, Ketua Pengarah Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara, Datuk Norliza Rofli, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Md Isa Sabu dan penyanyi Jamal Abdillah.

Kesungguhan para peserta menumbuk sambal di pesta itu tidak sia-sia apabila acara itu dimasukkan ke dalam Malaysia Book of Records sebagai "kegiatan menumbuk sambal paling ramai peserta".

Pesta yang bermula semalam dan dirasmikan bersama Salang dan Md Isa hari ini dimeriahkan dengan demonstrasi membuat serunai batang padi, membuat penangin, pertandingan menggagau ikan, persembahan alu bunyi dan pameran peralatan menuai padi secara tradisional.

Salang berkata pesta tersebut merupakan program kerjasama yang pertama seumpamanya yang melibatkan Kementerian Penerangan Komunikasi dan Kebudayaan serta Kementerian Pelancongan.

Deiii apa ini....!!! Org malaysia ni semua dah hilang idea to do achievements of other sorts last2 tumbuk sambal pun jadilah.....kamonlah brader, kalau Jamal Abdillah (org kpg aku tuh) dengan Isa Sabu (MB perlis) join tumbuk skalipun, does not make this feat as an extraordinary achievement ok...but beware Malaysians, next feat could be Peserta Paling Ramai Ikat Kain Pelikat atau Paling Ramai Berak Kat Sungai!!!!! give proper recognition to individuals who deserved it better rather than splashing precious funds on this kind of absurd feats.........

look at how she had grown up since the day i first saw her in the hospital after birth....wonders of the time and todate i saw her standing and watching tv in her distinct style......haha..im pretty sure the day they grew up wings and getting ready to fly away from my grasps, i might be wandering "its just like yesterday i saw her in the hospital carrier crying when i saw her for the first time"!!!!

9 rupanye!!!!

pagi tadi awal2 dah aku bangun sbb nak pegi jab imigresen utk uruskan pasal hal2 berkaitan ngan pasport antarabangsat nih...sampai kat wisma rampai (satu bangunan bau kencing) dekat wangsa maju aku pun parking keta aku kat tingkat bawah lalu terus bergerak menuju ke tempat yang sepatutnya sambil bersiulkan lagu tema gerak khas...sampai kat pintu pejabat yg dituju, macam sial ada signboard sistem offline kat luar, takpa aku tabahkan diri aku utk mamacakkan kaki aku depan pejabat itu dan kemungkinan besar berkat ketabahan aku serta kewarakan aku dalam soal2 agama, pintu tersebut dibuka dengan jayanya..lalu masuklah aku dengan sekumpulan lembu dan kambing gila yang berebut2 berbaris utk mendapatkan no giliran...aku dengabn konfidennya berbaris menunggu giliran aku untuk mengambil nombor..lalu giliran aku pun..oops, sebelum bab giliran aku tiba nih aku dah terpandang pada si dia ni yang akan menjadi badan blog pada ari ni, sungguh cantik, ayu, menawan dan seksi memang cuns tohai la katakan....berbalik kpd no giliran aku setelah sampai ke tempat amik nombor tuh aku diberitahu bahawa borang aku aku pandai2 print out dari internet semalam tak laku ropenyee sbb kena dalam satu mukasurat depan belakang, so tak dapat no giliran la aku sbb borang tak ikut spek, so akak tu pun bagila aku satu lagi borang suruh isi lengkap lepas tu kena beratur balik...dapat nombor giliran (1041) aku pun proceed la untuk duduk sementara menunggu nombor aku dipanggil oleh cik QMS (queue management system) tu...sekali lagi aku terpandang kat wajah yang sungguh cuns itu, sekarang dia dah duduk, lepas tuh nampak pulak lurah pungkuk dia, sah memang boleh makan ni (aku terpikir dalam kepala otak aku la walaupun no chance in hell), lepas tuh aku tengok cara dia alih2 kan rambut dia, di dalam hatiku mula berputik sedikit kesangsian tapi aku teruskan juga pemburuan aku sebab dia dah duduk selang dua kerusi depan aku plak tuh...lama jugak aku tenung2 muka ngan badan dia, sampai at one point aku rasa dia dah perasan yang ada satu mat black tgh ushar dia , dah mulalah dia menunjukkan sedikit kegedikkan dari masa ke semasa....segala persoalan aku telah terjawab tanpa kesangsian lagi setelah aku melihat cara dia berjalan menuju ke arah kaunter selepas nombornya dipanggil, lebig perempuan dari perempuan tulen......lain kali cek betul2 kalau tidak you may end up main pedang ataupun sapu ubat kuning kat lubang bontot!!!!

gambar2 ni hanyalah sebagai hiasan sahaja, takde kena mengena dgn yang dh idup ataupun yg dah mati so jangan memandai2 nak saman2 yek!!!!

addicted out of a sudden!!

ha ha...not that im addicted of blogging in this lonely virtual space of mine but i just felt the urge to blog another piece of history from my always spinning brain and here it goes.....for the past 2-3 weeks my room (at office)if filled with documents and forms to be settled and closed up with since a major assignment which was used to be operated by the company had to be closed down due to the expiry of the contract..even though the individual amount to be returned to the customers are quite puny, but due to volume of customers who used to be the patrons had made the sum to be reimbursed quite a hefty sum..so here i am, staying back late almost everyday to settle this particular exercise at the shortest time possible so that other works can be completed and monitored..the latest member of the staff is practically an old car and i just found out yesterday that he is computer illiterate..so there i go at this computer age where almost all of the associates within the organisation communicates and relay information using the computer, this particular "dungu" does not even know where is the shift button on the keyboard...somehow or rather his attitude made me reminisced about an ex staff of mine who was terminated after 5 months of employment...this particular spot which is currently filled in by this computer whiz is naturally a hot spot due to the amount of turnovers that had happened for the past 2 years, if im not wrong almost 6 times in the number of replacement it had seen...lets see how far this fella goes..............hmmmpphhhhhh!!!!

whats up today dude!!

got a shocker today, got a call whilst asleep and asking me whether i have this certain document to of which i said no!!!! i was asked to get the document ASAP for the upcoming project so there i go, another day full of travel and hectic is looming ahead tomorrow.....no sweat as usual i am looking at the whole matter positively and its a a possible route opener for me and the family to excel more in life....for today the nasi kandar i had for lunch albeit being mediocre in its taste but still was fulfilling enough to the height of skipping my dinner maybe.....im heaving headache as the road tax for both of the cars is gonna be due in the 1-2 months and with summons piled up to the brim im at crossroads........

Wallah!! Pictures paint a thousand words..see for yerself..the vegetables expenses had gone down tremendously as he had been continuously producing new vegetables almost every weekend for the past 2-3 months..still to come his the pumpkins and sweet potatoes......wait of the update in this blog!!!

The dawn of a new era

Hi there readers (though i suspect there are any)...first of all I would like to start todays rant with a sad news, the only friend of mine who'd actually commented on these blog postings i.e. my man Rahiman had passed away last december in UK, a great loss indeed as i look at him as my brother, such a wonderful person with much intelligence but God had summoned him to be early with him....i wish u RIP my man..condolences to the family too. Life had been much the normal it seems since the start of this year, usual expenses associated with the dawn of new year each time, celebrated the new year with grief with the passing of my two grandma's, celebrated the 4th birthday of my eldest princess, albeit subtly...the second one is growing up way way too fast, it seems just like a moment ago i saw the small legs and hands coming out from the mothers womb but look at her now, out of a sudden, trying to walk, talk and hack the walls of the house, ill cherish these moments for the rest of my life coz i know there is no point babbling about missing it all when the age had catched up with you one day..dad is having his usual day to day itineraries i.e gardening front, left and right of the house, come and see and you'll will know what i am rambling about, vinithaa is the lover of peanut as i had recently found out..nasi lemak being her favourite item in the morning is not caused by the nasi or the lemak but its actually because of the kacang that accompanies it hence the solution to the whole issue is just omit the nasi lemak but instead buy for her the meehon or mee (once in a while)but add the peanut to it....Me instead is currently a bit occupied with day to day work at the office since the whole company is currently anticipating and preparing for a possible foreign assignment, a major one which i hope turns out positively since its opening a whole new episode in may life if the deal went through, however if its does not go through life still have to go on since day to day life is continuous and neverending...ok guys, lemme start the first post of this year with some bits and pieces here and there and hopefully ill have more time this year to fill up this wall of ramblings with more fun and boring pieces of my day to day life.............and last but not least
